Vintage Fabric Brooch No.4

Here is my latest brooch made using some toile de jouy with a frill of vintage handmade lace. On top I have stitched a heart in a Cath Kidston stripe with a smaller heart of vintage french linen and a little bit of vintage embroidery from an old doily at the bottom. The tail is made from wide satin ribbon with pink ribbons and pearly buttons and pearly beads to finish off.
All my brooches are individual and hand stitched. This one is 13.5 cms long overall. Please click on the photo to enlarge and take a closer look.

Vintage Fabric Brooches

This little brooch is 14 cm long to the end of the little felt hearts. It is made with some vintage embroidered cream fabric which is very fine and may have been intended for a wedding dress a long time ago. On top of that is a heart of cotton provencal print and a little cream cotton heart. I have added some pretty little beads in the colours of the print and a little pearly button. The tail is of black silk velvet and two fine ribbons with felt hearts at the ends.

Vintage Fabric Brooches

This brooch is made using some fine cotton fabric, together with a piece of vintage pink ribbon.
On top of that there are two french linen hearts and a little blue ginham heart and ribbon. Finished with a little white lace. All totally hand stitched with pretty little silver blue beads to finish it off. The back has a felt pad and a brooch pin.

Vintage Fabric Brooches

This little brooch is all handmade using vintage fabrics. Overall it is 11.5cm long. Firstly we have a piece of fine embroidered vintage cotton with a layer of broderie anglaise on top. Then there is a heart of a cotton provencal print and top of that a little piece of french linen. I have finished it off with some pretty little beads to catch the light and a tail of black silk velvet. The back is finished with piece of felt and a brooch pin.
